About Me

The Expert Adviser

IMG_2706_edited.jpg

I am Theresa Hedrington, a lifelong learner committed to the principle that one must be part of the solution rather than part of the problem.

As a parent, grandparent, and educator deeply engaged with the special needs community, I have developed a strong resolve to advocate for myself and my family. I have learned to assert my position and not allow external factors to dictate our lives. By asking pertinent questions, actively participating in decision-making processes, and ensuring that our rights are recognized and respected, I strive to create a supportive and empowering environment for my family and community.

Life will inevitably bring changes, both positive and negative. However, it is our response to these changes that determines whether we are empowered. Achieving each milestone, no matter how small, makes a significant difference. With over 20 years of experience in education and administration, I have earned a reputation as one of the most esteemed educational consultants in the Five Boroughs and the New York area. The interests of my clients are always my top priority, and I go above and beyond to ensure they achieve their desired results.

Whether you are new to special education or have prior experience, if you need advice on advocating for your child(ren) or require an advocate for any matter, big or small, I am your go-to source. Reach out today to set up a meeting; let's talk!
